Install the Hip App on your mobile device with a few easy steps and access all of Hip’s buying and selling tools anytime, anywhere!
The Hip App is available for both Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad) devices. Instructions for installing each are below!
Note that the application isn’t available on Google Play Store or App Store yet. To install the app, you will need to access our site on your browser application and follow the steps below.
On Android devices:
1. Launch Google Chrome and go to Hip's website
2. Once you are on the Hip website, a prompt box will appear featuring an Install the App option. Select that prompt box and follow the instructions to install the app. If the prompt does not show, you may press the Menu button (☰) and choose to Add to Homepage. This will add a shortcut to your home screen with the Hip Logo, giving you easy access to Hip.
On iOS devices:
1. Launch Safari and go to the Hip website
2. Once you are on the Hip website, a prompt box will appear featuring an Install the App option. Select that prompt box and follow the instructions to install the app. If the prompt box does not show up, please proceed to step 3.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of your page, tap the Share icon in your toolbar, and select the Add to Home Screen option as noted in the below screenshot.
You should now see an icon for the App on the home screen of your device! It will look like the Hip logo. We hope you enjoy it.
